Pair Tsums #1–13 Explained
From here, we’ll go through each of the top-ranked Pair Tsums.
Tied #1: Conan & Kaito Kid (JP only)
Its standout is score efficiency: reaching 2.1 billion takes only about 3 hours.
Compared with about 5 hours for Malleus Draconia and 6–9 hours for Cinderella, it’s on another level.
It’s also S rank for coin farming at max skill, making it one of the highest coin earners among Tsums that can aim for 2.1 billion.
Tsums that excel at both coins and score at the same time are very rare, which alone is reason enough to rank it at the top.
However, it’s not easy to handle, so it may take a while to get used to.
Tied #1: Jack & Sally

The reason Jack & Sally can’t be left out is its “ease of use.”
From Skill Level 1, it shows top-class coin farming performance and can also aim for 2.1 billion.
An animation plays after each chain, making your next move easy to see, and Tsums connect easily even when a bit apart.
Many players can use it and get results, so in terms of “overall strength,” it’s the strongest Pair Tsum.
#2: Judy & Nick (JP only)
Judy & Nick has by far the best coin efficiency of any Pair Tsum.
At max skill, its coin efficiency is SSS rank, almost on par with Gaston, the go-to coin farming Tsum.
Its drawback is that it’s difficult.
#3: Beach Donald & Mickey

It boasts the second-best coin efficiency among Pair Tsums right now.
It’s also great to control: when you activate Mickey’s skill, Donald’s skill clears automatically, so Tsums keep disappearing without you focusing on activating or clearing.
It works well for everyone from beginners to advanced players, and hardly anyone regrets leveling it.
#4: Aladdin & Genie

It’s a unique Tsum: it has a Maleficent-type skill, yet it’s easy even for players who struggle with that type.
Genie’s skill animation plays after each chain, so it’s easy to see where to swipe next.
You can also pop Bubbles with one hand, so it’s easier to control — a nice plus.
For score, it has the potential to reach 2.1 billion, so it shines for both coins and score.
If you want to try for 10,000 coins, getting Aladdin & Genie is a big opportunity.
#5: Pilot Luke & R2-D2

Known as “top class at low skill levels,” it shows high coin efficiency from Skill Level 1.
It has a Maleficent-type skill, so it may feel a bit hard for beginners, but Luke’s skill helps out, so you feel guaranteed a minimum number of coins.
It also works as practice for Maleficent-type skills, so it’s especially good for players who want to improve.
#6: Rey & BB-8

Its coin efficiency at max skill is very high, enough to rank near the top among Pair Tsums.
However, recent new Tsums are tuned to be strong even at low skill levels, and it’s less appealing outside of max skill — that’s why it ranks lower.
Its coin adjustment barely applies at low skill levels, so the cost to fully level it is a bit of a concern.
Once you level it to max skill, it’s a solid performer.
#7: Evil Queen & Magic Mirror

There was a time it was called “the strongest Pair Tsum.”
Its ability to make repeated big clears from Skill Level 1 was nearly one of a kind when it was released.
Similar Tsums have since appeared, so it’s less striking now, but its earning power at low skill levels is still strong.
For practical use, Skill Level 2 or higher is recommended — at Skill Level 1, its coin adjustment is negative, so coins are hard to earn.
#8: Mickey & Duffy

This Tsum is a rare Tsum that’s not expected to return, yet it boasts by far the best coin efficiency in its category.
Its coin adjustment is solid: at Skill Level 6, a horizontal clear alone earns about 500 coins, and you can trigger it several times during the skill.
About the only Tsum with similar efficiency is Anakin Skywalker, which shows how strong it is.
#9: Elsa & Olaf

We put this Tsum at #9 based on an overall rating of coin efficiency and how it feels to use.
While the skills are stacked, you just build up Bubbles and activate the skill — that comfort is its appeal.
When luck is on your side, you can earn around 8,000 coins at once, so it’s a satisfying Tsum.
#10: Sora & Roxas

It’s rated as a score-focused Tsum.
Amazingly, it has the potential to aim for 2.1 billion at Skill Level 1 — something few other Tsums can do.
However, it’s a bit weak at coin farming and fairly hard to control, so it’s for advanced players.
It’s a Tsum valued for its score potential.
#11: Outdoor Pooh & Piglet (JP only)
Many people see it as “as strong as a Set Tsum,” but what really matters is the start — activating both Pooh’s and Piglet’s skills to enter stroll mode. If you fumble there, your coin efficiency suffers.
Once the stroll starts, the loop during the skill makes it play almost like a Set Tsum, so it’s more of a Tsum to enjoy playing, like a practice partner for Set Tsums.
#12: Baymax 2.0 & Hiro

Many see it as a “luck-based Tsum,” but in fact the luck of your MyTsum layout matters more than luck when activating the skill.
You need to go chain MyTsums right after the hits end, so a bad layout leaves you stuck, which directly hurts coin efficiency.
It’s more of a Tsum to enjoy playing.
#13: Lovely Stitch & Angel

This Tsum’s biggest strength is how easily it earns at low skill levels.
It has the potential for 10,000+ coins even at Skill Level 1, and there are even reports of reaching 2.1 billion at Skill Level 1.
When it first came out, it was talked about as “the fastest Tsum to reach 100 million points,” but similar Tsums have since appeared, so it stands out a little less now.
