Recommended Way to Use the Skill

Tip 1: There’s an ideal angle for tilting your phone
The first tip is how far to tilt your phone after activating the skill.
Many players just tilt it by feel, but there’s actually a good angle to aim for.
Tilting about 45 degrees keeps the clears consistent
After activating the skill, tilt your phone about 45 degrees for consistent clears.
At this angle, you’ll consistently clear around 25 Tsums per swipe.
If you don’t tilt enough, you may only clear 22 or fewer.
What happens if you tilt too much or too little
If the angle is too shallow or too steep, swiping gets harder and you end up clearing fewer Tsums.
45 degrees is just a guide. Start there, then fine-tune to whatever position is easiest for you.
Tip 2: Swipe between the 2nd and 3rd Tsums
After the angle, the next most important thing is where exactly you swipe.
Paying attention to this can nearly double the number of Tsums you clear.
How swipe position affects the clear count
Count Tsums from the edge of the screen to find the right spot.
| Swipe Position | Result |
|---|---|
| Between the 1st and 2nd from the right | Very few Tsums cleared on the right side |
| Between the 2nd and 3rd from the right | Balanced clears on both sides; about 25 per swipe |
By swiping right down the middle between the 2nd and 3rd Tsums, you get balanced clears on both sides.
The biggest tip: swipe parallel to the edge of the screen
Another easy-to-miss problem is your swipe drifting diagonally.
Many players start between the 2nd and 3rd Tsums but end up drifting over to the 1st.
The fix is simple: swipe parallel to the edge of the screen. Swipe straight up and down, using the screen edge as a guide, and your swipes will be much more stable.
Tip 3: Timing your swipes to get all 6
Keep your finger on the screen right after activating the skill
First, keep your finger on the screen from the moment you press the skill button.
Instead of tapping the screen again after pressing the button, think of it as starting your swipe in advance. At this point, you’re in the middle of your first swipe.
R2-D2 handing over the lightsaber is your cue
In Jedi Luke’s skill animation, R2-D2 hands the lightsaber to Luke. When the handoff is complete, you’ll hear a “ping” sound.
Release your first swipe the moment you hear that sound.
Rating by Skill Level
It becomes usable from Skill Level 4.
At low skill levels, it doesn’t clear enough Tsums to be practical.
